Board of Directors

Charles H. Carmouche

Mr. Carmouche serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Post Oak Bank. He holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from the University of Texas. He has practiced law in Houston for the previous 25 years and most recently served as General Counsel of Fiesta Food Mart, Inc. a major grocery retailer in Houston, Texas.

Charles M. Giesen

Mr. Giesen has practiced law in Houston since 1989 and is also a certified public accountant. He served as a director of Langham Creek National Bank for approximately 6 years until the sale of the bank in 1999. His undergraduate degree is from Texas A & M University, he has a masters of business administration degree from Carnegie-Mellon University and a law degree from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas

E. Doug Hodo, Jr.

Mr.  Hodo is President of McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Texas, Inc.  As a key member of the management team since 1995, Mr. Hodo provides leadership and direction for the Texas insurance sales function and overall operations.  McGriff sold in 2005 to BB&T, creating one of the largest insurance brokerage firms in the nation and 7th largest worldwide.  Mr. Hodo graduated from the University of Texas in 1987 with a B.B.A in Business Communications.

Frank C. Liang

Since 1985, Mr. Liang has been president and CEO of Telco Intercontinental Corporation, a company which specializes in the import and export and manufacturing of components for the telecommunication and computer industry. Mr. Liang has been recognized by the Asian Chamber of Commerce as the Outstanding Business Man of the Year. He holds a degree from the Taipei Institute of Technology.

D. Wayne McDonnell

Mr. McDonnell was a practicing architect for approximately 20 years until his association in 1995 with Saltgrass Steakhouse, where he was a principal and partner in Saltgrass Steakhouse Restaurants until the restaurant chain's aquisition in 2002. At Saltgrass his primary area of responsibility was real estate expansion for the restaurant chain throughout Texas. Presently he owns and operates Silver Star Ranch in New Ulm, Texas, a horse ranch that raises and shows quarter horses. Mr. McDonnell graduated from Texas Tech University.

Robert E. McKee, III

In April 2002 Mr. McKee retired as the Executive Vice President for Exploration and Production of Conoco Phillips after serving in various capacities with such company and its predecessors for over 36 years. He recently served as Senior Oil Advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority and Iraqi Oil Ministries. He holds a petroleum engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and a graduate degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jim W. Nokes

Mr. Nokes retired in 2006 from Conoco Phillips where he served as Executive Vice President of Refining, Marketing, Supply and Transportation. He joined Conoco in 1970 and held a number of positions throughout his tenure with the company and its successors. Mr. Nokes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fort Hayes State University in Kansas and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.

H. John Riley, Jr.

In 2006, Mr. Riley retired as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cooper Industries, Inc., a company with which he was associated for more than 40 years, including service as the President and Chief Operating Officer and later as Chief Executive Officer. Cooper Industries is a world-wide manufacturer of electrical products, tools and hardware and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. Mr. Riley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Syracuse University and has also completed the Harvard Advanced Management Program.

Marcus C. Rowland

Mr. Rowland is Chief Executive Officer FTS International, Inc. an oil field service company.  He was previously with Chesapeake Energy Corporation serving as Chief Financial Officer since 1993 and Executive Vice President since 1998.  He is a certified public accountant and holds a business administration degree with Wichita State University.

Louis A. Waters, Jr.

Mr. Waters is president of Waters Group. His expertise in identifying emerging technologies and trends in the marketplace has created a strong track record in software, services, and technology products. He has built five successful technology companies and serves on the board of four further companies. Lou's background includes a BS in Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. Lou holds eleven patents with several more currently in development.

Michael E. Wiley

Mr. Wiley has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Baker Hughes (oilfield service company) since August 2000. He also served as President of Baker Hughes from August 2000 to October 2004. Mr. Wiley was President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlantic Richfield Company (integrated energy company) from 1998 through May 2000. Prior to 1998, he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vastar Resources, Inc. (independent oil and gas company). He holds a petroleum engineering degree from the University of Tulsa and masters of business administration from the University of Dallas.

Roland L. Williams

Mr. Williams serves as a director and our President and Chief Executive Officer, with over 30 years of experience in commercial banking. He most recently served as Market CEO, Houston Market, of SouthTrust Bank from March 1999 to March 2003. He previously was associated with Langham Creek National Bank in various executive officer capacities for more than 10 years, including serving as its chairman, president and chief executive officer, until its acquisition in March 1999 by SouthTrust Bank. He holds a business administration degree from McNeese State University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking, Dallas, Texas
